When do your trips start?
Our set journeys usually align with festivals or special seasons. For private experiences, we can be flexible with dates.
Are your trips group tours or private?
Both. Retreats and thematic journeys are offered as groups to share energy. Cultural explorations can be arranged privately for couples, families, or individuals.
Can I tweak the itinerary?
Yes, we’re happy to adapt experiences to your interests — whether it’s temples, yoga, art, or local life.
Is international airfare included?
No. Your journey with us begins once you arrive in India from the entry point of the Path.
What’s included in the package cost?
Stays in boutique eco-lodges, heritage resorts, or 4-star hotels, guided experiences, curated activities, transfers during the trip, and select meals. Each itinerary clearly lists what’s included.
Why not all meals?
We leave space for you to explore local cuisines — it’s part of the joy of travel.
What deposit is required?
A small non-refundable deposit (usually 10% of the trip cost) secures your spot (if booking 6+ months ahead). Balance is due one month before your trip.
What payment methods do you accept?
Secure online transfers and credit/debit cards.

Is Jvala suitable for senior travelers?
Yes, our cultural itineraries are designed at a comfortable pace and include basic medical support, making them suitable for senior travelers. However, our yoga retreats are not recommended for senior citizens.
Will I get emergency contact details?
Yes, you’ll receive a contact sheet with all key numbers before your trip begins.
Do I need vaccinations?
We recommend consulting your doctor. General travel vaccinations are usually advised.

Will I be allowed inside temples, and what should I wear?
Most temples welcome international visitors. Some may restrict access to the inner sanctum. Please wear modest clothing — including covering shoulders and knees — for comfort and respect.
What should I pack?
Light cottons, comfortable shoes, a reusable water bottle, and modest attire for sacred spaces. A detailed packing list will follow your booking.
What about money?
ATMs are widely available, and digital payments are common in cities. Carry some cash for smaller towns and markets.
Is water safe to drink?

Do I need to know yoga to join?
Not at all. Our yoga experiences welcome beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
Will language be a barrier?
No. Our guides speak English, and we provide support in other languages where possible.
Do I need to carry Indian currency before arrival?
It’s best to have a small amount for immediate expenses. ATMs are available at airports.
