Online Bookings and Transactions

Jvala.travel provides tools for users to request bookings and purchase travel-related services.
All bookings are subject to availability and final price confirmation.

  • Bookings are considered confirmed only after full payment is received and a confirmation email is issued by Jvala.travel.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information while making bookings. Incorrect details may result in denied services, additional charges, or cancellation without refund.
  • Jvala.travel reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any booking request at its discretion, including for errors in pricing or  availability, or in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.

Payment and Refund Policy

  • Payments must be made via authorised payment gateways only.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be governed by the Cancellation Policy specific to the service or package booked.
  • Currency conversions and bank charges are borne by the user, and Jvala.travel is not responsible for losses due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Cancellation, Changes & Refunds

Cancellation or changes to bookings are subject to the Cancellation and Refund Policy applicable to each travel package and service provider. Travellers should refer to these policies before finalising their purchase.

  • In the event of trip cancellations caused by unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political instability), Jvala.travel will offer the best alternative available but cannot guarantee full refunds.
  • Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time frame, but Jvala.travel shall not be liable for delays due to third-party processing

Third-Party Services and Links

The site may contain links to third-party websites or offer services operated by third-party providers (e.g., hotels, airlines, insurance). These links are provided for your convenience only.

  • Jvala.travel does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or quality of services offered by third-party sites.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Force Majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, etc.).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jvala.travel, its directors, officers, employees, and partners from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use or misuse of the website;
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Breach of any law or the rights of a third party.

All personal information submitted by users is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Users are encouraged to read it carefully.

Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, India.

Sever-ability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Traveler

  • More than 60 days before departure:
    • Full refund minus 10% of total booking cost (administrative fee).
  • 31 to 59 days before departure:
    • 25% of total booking cost will be retained.
  • 15 to 30 days before departure:
    • 50% of total booking cost will be retained.
  • Less than 15 days before departure or no-show:
    • 100% cancellation fee. No refund will be provided.

Note: Any non-refundable components (airfare, visa fees, entrance tickets, or hotel bookings secured on a non-refundable basis) will be deducted separately in all cases.
In addition to the timelines and refunds as outlined above:

  • Cancellations will be effective only when acknowledged in writing by the agency.
  • Refunds are subject to third-party terms (hotels, logistics, airlines, etc.).
  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to cancellation@jvala.pro
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 21 business days.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations due to medical, personal, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Group tour packages may have different rules from Standard Packaged Travel Path bookings.

Cancellation by Agency

In rare circumstances, if we are forced to cancel the tour due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), the following options will be offered:

  • Full refund minus unrecoverable costs from third-party vendors.
  • Option to reschedule or apply the paid amount as credit for a future tour (valid for 6 months).
  • Agency reserves the right to cancel the tour if minimum group size is not met.
  • Substitutions or modifications may be offered instead of cancellation.
  • No compensation will be offered for cancellations caused by Force Majeure.

Indemnification Clause

This is critical. Here’s a sample clause:

Indemnity: The traveller agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless [Jvala Immersive Travel], its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Any breach of these terms and conditions;
  • Traveler’s acts, omissions, or conduct during the tour;
  • Any misrepresentation or false information provided to the agency.

Force Majeure

The agency shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay, cancellation, or disruption of service caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: acts of God, weather events, political unrest, pandemic outbreaks, terrorism, flight cancellations, or border closures.

Travel Insurance Requirement

  • The agency may require travellers to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellation, curtailment, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
  • If not purchased, the traveler accepts all associated risks and liability.

Visa Denial / Passport Issues

The agency is not responsible for cancellations or losses due to visa rejections, delayed processing, or passport-related issues.

No-Show and Partial Participation

  • No refund will be granted to travellers who fail to show up at the point of departure.
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused services, early departures, or skipped activities once the tour has started.

Agency’s Limitation of Liability

The agency is a coordinator of services and not liable for acts or omissions of third-party providers including hotels, airlines, transportation operators, or guides. Liability is limited to the cost of the tour services purchased. The participants will indemnify the agency Jvala.Travel for all events that are out of control of the agency, like traffic jams, missing flights, additional costs because of last minute changes in plans, and subsequent action steps needed by the traveller.

Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for ensuring their health and fitness to travel, securing proper documentation, and complying with local laws. The agency reserves the right to remove any traveller whose behaviour disrupts the group or violates any rules. Certain paths include trips to places of religious worship where traditions are alive. We recommend a certain decorum, dress code to be maintained as a show of respect to the local sentiment and its customs.

Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai in India.
